Summary edit

Description And this is the exhibit itself- a fabulous hand-embroidered hand fan with moon motif, done up in old thread, from early 20th century Rajasthan. You saw a sign for this exhibit immediately before this (see previous picture). This is one of the exhibits celebrating Indian textile art and is in the Government Museum and Art Gallery in Chandigarh, north India. Detailed notes about the museum appeared earlier in this album. (see previous pictures). (Chandigarh, north India, Nov. 2017)
