English: Gormanston Strand, Co. Meath Wide sandy strand exposed by the receding tide. Steep clay and gravel cliffs stretch from River Delvin to Ben Head, visible in the distance. Seeping groundwater and high tides cause the occasional collapse. The Scotland - Ireland Gas Interconnector pipeline was installed under this beach in 2002, c. 500m north of this position, on the near side of the 'V' in cliffs.
