English: Gower Street blue plaques Two of this street's notables lived here on the east side near where it meets Bedford Square: left, James Robinson 1813-1862, pioneer of anaesthesia and dentistry (Plaque erected in 1991 by English Heritage); and right, Lady Ottoline Morrell 1873-1938, literary hostess and patron of the arts.(Plaque erected in 1986 by Greater London Council)
