| Description |
English: Grade II listed Taibach Library, Port Talbot.
Located on the corner of Commercial Road and Library Lane, Taibach, Port Talbot. Now part of the Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council library service, the library was originally a Carnegie Free Library, built with money donated by Scottish-American businessman and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. More than 2,500 Carnegie libraries were built worldwide, including 660 in Britain and Ireland. Taibach Library was Grade II listed in January 2000. |
