Description

La Elipse del Parque O’Higgins fue el escenario para la Gran Parada Militar del Bicentenario, que contó con el desfile de 7.545 efectivos pertenecientes a las distintas ramas de las Fuerzas Armadas y de Orden. Asimismo, participaron en esta actividad delegaciones militares de Estados Unidos, México, Paraguay, Uruguay Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil y Colombia.

El Presidente de la República, Sebastián Piñera, rindió homenaje a las Fuerzas Armadas de nuestro país. “Hoy, en que celebramos las Glorias de nuestro Ejército, quiero recordarles a todos mis compatriotas que este Ejército profesional, no deliberante, jerarquizado y disciplinado, está y va a estar siempre a la altura de los desafíos y de los requerimientos de este siglo XXI y de esta nueva etapa que inicia hoy día nuestra patria”, afirmó.
