Description

Saturday, June 30th, 1956 was the fateful day when two commercial airliners left Los Angeles just minutes apart. Later that morning they collided over the Grand Canyon. All 128 passengers and crew members onboard died. Until the 1960s it was the deadliest airline crash in history, and would lead to sweeping changes in the regulation of flight operations over the United States
