Description

Chris at our campsite near a fire water tank and water resource at the end of Tule Canyon Truck Trail. This is near mile 138 on the Pacific Crest Trail. The location is in a sheltered valley between sections of the trail at higher elevations. The camp site is marked with flagging tape and is north of the fire hydrant.

Someone fashioned a camp chair out of two granite rocks and the site has a rusty fire ring with many bullet holes.

I am wearing Vuori V411 black pants made with 96% nylon and 4% spandex weight 8.3 oz (235 g). These are available from Vuori Clothing's web site.


The tent is a Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL tent one-person tent. I think HV and UL stand for high volume and ultra-light.
