Description
English: Market Place, Conduit and Market Cross at Grantham, Lincolnshire, England, c.1900. The Blue Sheep Inn and the building to its right with double gates was demolished, but the other buildings remain, and are part of a conservation area. The pinnacled conduit building to the left of the Blue Sheep Inn dates from 1567, and protected a system of piped water originally constructed by a Franciscan Friary in the early 14th century.
