English: Grantham Canal near Bassingfield. Here the canal is carried over the Polser Brook which flows underneath through a culvert. This has been well restored with new brickwork and concrete channels to direct the brook under the canal, see 748469. The gap in the wall on the left hand side is an overflow from the canal to the brook. |
