Graphic granites are typically bimineralic and consist of interpenetrating crystals of quartz and potassium feldspar). The resulting texture somewhat resembles ancient writing (“graphic”). Observed examples resemble Cuneiform and Arabic writing. These rocks occur in pegmatitic granite intrusions.
