Description
English: Grave in St Simon & St Jude's Churchyard, Bramdean It is always poignant walking around graveyards. These flowers are artificial but the inscription drew my attention:

In ever loving memory of our dear son Frederick Dennis Smith Died June 1st 1933 aged 4X years Safe in the arms of Jesus

The X is eroded but I presume it is a fraction. My immediate thought was that parents aged 20 in 1933 would today be aged 96, so who put these flowers here?
