English: Beige snake with dark brown mottled back and sides. Rat Snakes commonly inhabit prairies and caves with patterns varying in sharpness. Identical to the Western Rat Snake when young, this species keeps its pattern into adulthood. They feed primarily on rodents and birds, but also bats in caves.
