Summary edit

Description

Six telephoto shots combined. Taken from the park entrance just before sunset. The sun peeked between two bands of clouds for just a few minutes to give the great red cast and deep shadows to the dunes.

The tallest dune on the left is Star Dune at 755 ft. while the mountain on the left is Mt Herard at 13297 ft or rising 5000 ft above the San Luis valley.
