Description
English: Ad for portrait painter Augustus Fuller from the Greenfield Gazette and Mercury newspaper (Greenfield, Massachusetts), December 1830. Text reads, "Portrait Painting. AUGUSTUS FULLER has taken a room recently fitted up expressly for his business over Gould 7 Ames's Store, where he purposes to remain through the winter, and where he will be happy to wait on customers in the line of his profession. Specimens of his painting may be seen at his room. Mr. Fuller is deaf and dumb; he was educated at the Asylum in Hartford, Ct., and was instructed in the art of Portrait Painting by some of the best artists in Boston. Public patronage is repectfully solicited. Greenfield, Dec. 9, 1830."
