Title |
English: Greenhouses in the snow, Bryn Mawr, Washington, ca. 1910 |

Description |
English: In 1907, A.T. Wilson bought 12 acres of land on Grand Avenue (now 87th Avenue South) in Bryn Mawr, now part of Renton, Washington. The greenhouse business flourished at this location through the 20th century under the ownership of Wilson, then Stuber & Richardson, and later Hank Komatsu. This photographic postcard, made sometime between 1907 and 1912, shows the Bryn Mawr greenhouses in a heavy snow. Given the date of the photographic paper markings and the handwritten note on the back, the postcard was made when A.T. Wilson owned the firm. Written on verso: Stuber and Richardson greenhouse before 1916 in Bryn Mawr at south end of Lake Washington
