Description
English: Greenknowe Tower. A well preserved L-plan tower house built in 1581, located on the outskirts of Gordon. The house was erected as a family home for local landowner James Seton and his wife Janet Edmonstone. Occupied until the 1850s it was passed to Historic Scotland in 1937. You can climb the spiral staircase all the way to the top!
