Bemerkung :

Der Grenzstein 28 und der große Läuferstein mit der Kennzeichnung XLII stehen zwischen Eilenburg und Thallwitz, rechts und links der Straße S 11. Dieser Grenzstein trägt die Inschrift XLIV. In diesem Grenzbereich wurde eine Umnummerierung der Grenz- und Läufersteine vorgenommen. Die richtige Bezeichnung, entsprechend Topographische Karte (Meßtischblätter) Sachsen Section Thallwitz - Strelln 1907, wäre Grenzstein Nr. 28. In dem Bereich zwischen Bunitz und der Grenzeiche bei Kollau sind neben dem Originalsteinen aus Granit sehr viele, um 1935 neu gesetzte Läufersteine, aus Sandstein z. T. mit einer Doppelnummerierung zu finden.
