Description Arms of Grey of Sandiacre, Derbyshire: Barry of six argent and azure a label of three points gules charged with nine bezants. Arms of Grey of Grey's Thurrock, Essex (senior line), differenced by a label of three points gules charged with nine bezants. William Grey of Sandiacre was the youngest of the three sons of w:Henry de Grey (1155-1219) of Grey's Thurrock, Essex. The eventual heirs, on failure of the male line, were Walsh and Leke (of Leke, Gotham, Nottinghamshire).
