English: Plate 480, No 231: caricature of Marshal Bugeaud, a stout man standing whole-length, facing front, in uniform; he carries vegetables in an apron and ration of oats around his neck, and wears a clog on his left foot, which allude to his interest for agriculture; the lock on his right shoulder and the key symbolize his role as gaoler at the fortress of Blaye. 9 April 1835
