Description
English: Mine 2B in Longyeardalen, the second entrance point to Mine 2, opened in 1937 and closed down in 1968, when most of the coal had been extracted. In Longyearbyen, this complex is also known as the Santa Claus mine, as in this is where Santa lives and makes the toys for the children.
