Español: Patricio Ibarra Cifuentes escribió:"Caricatura publicada en el Padre Cobos el 3 de noviembre de 1883, dondeun grupo de empleados civiles del gobierno chileno de ocupación en Lima, encabezados por Luis Aldunate retorna al país. Ellos se dedicaron a distintas tareas de la administración, entre las que se cuentan la justicia, correos, alumbrado entre otras. De aspecto sombrío, lucen ceños adustos e incluso algunos de ellos lloran, mientras cargan su equipaje. La permanencia de más de dos años de las tropas chilenas en la Ciudad Virreinal, debido a la imposibilidad de liquidar de manera adecuada la guerra, permitió que muchos de los funcionarios crearan los vínculos e intereses suficientes para no desear el fin de las hostilidades. El Padre Cobos y el Negro observan contentos la escena." |
