English: Guide Bridge station Guide Bridge station in East Manchester had in former times been an important junction. By 1990 it was dilapidated, unloved and used by few services. The electric wires, which had served the main line to Sheffield Victoria, were only used by locals to Hadfield and Glossop. Here a diesel train approaches with one of the few remaining trains to call here. |
