| Description |
English: Guided Busway Single lane of the Guided Busway running along the edge of Orchard Park. Orchard Park was originally Arbury Park but that was a fairly silly name as 'Arbury' rarely appears in estate agency listings, normally being referred to as 'north Cambridge'. Arbury Park has also had bad press as work just stopped when the credit crunch hit so a Windscale/Sellafield-type name change was also useful for marketting reasons. Orchard Park is, to my memory, not hugely accurate compared to what was there before, but 'not particularly attractive wasteland Park' wouldn't have helped the marketing. |
