Description

Gull in flight with just catched unknown object (you can see water still dropping in full sized image). Photo by Thermos.

The bird was identified by MPF as juvenile (recently fledged) Chroicocephalus ridibundus (Black-headed Gull). As MPF says; "note the narrow, well-defined black band at the tip of the tail and long narrow white "windows" on the outer primary feathers".
