Magyar: Gyöngyöspata. Kisboldogasszony római katolikus templom.- A Jesse-oltár: Jézus családfáját mutatja be, egyedülálló műemlék. A nyolc méter magas, mozgalmas, sokalakos oltár (dél-lengyelországi?) a 17. század közepéről (1653?). Az oltáron fekvő Jesse életnagyságú törzséből fa sarjad, ágain bibliai királyok és próféták — köztük Salamon és Dávid — dús aranyozású, festett szobrai felett koronás Mária trónol, karján a kisdeddel. A fa törzsén iratszalagok kígyóznak az Énekek énekéből vett idézetekkel. A kétoldalt felnyúló ágak koszorúként ölelik át a Mária születésének oltárképet a fa közepén. A fa törzse ezüst színű, az ágak aranyozottak. |
