Description
English: Hôtel des Pénitentes of Angers, Maine-et-Loire, Pays de la Loire, France. It was first a refuge for the monks of Saint-Nicholas abbey, then a convent for an Penitentes religious order, then a prison for women. It's now owned by the municipality of Angers, and used for expositions of Arts.
Français : L hôtel des Pénitentes d'Angers, Maine-et-Loire, Pays de la Loire, France. A l'origine refuge pour les moines de l'abbaye Saint-Nicolas, puis couvent de l'ordre des Pénitentes, elle devint ensuite une prison pour femmes. Aujourd'hui propriété de la ville d'Angers, elle sert pour des expositions.
