Deutsch: Gestüt Gabel bei Tschirnau, (...) Bezirk Posen, Kreis Guhrau, Eigentümer Joachim von Loesch. Gabel hat eine Grösse von 740 ha, wovon 462 auf Ackerland und 6 ha auf Wiesen entfallen. Das Gestüt, in welchem Belgier gezüchtet werden, besteht seit 1901. Im März 1913 waren 1 Hengst und 9 Mutterstuten, 6 Saugfohlen, 5 einjährige und 5 zweijährige Fohlen vorhanden. (Vgl. Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft, Publikation von 1915, online). Gabel war bei der zweiten Teilung Polens 1793 an Preussen abgetreten und 1919 durch den Versailler Friedensvertrag wieder Polen zugeteilt worden. Die deutsch-polnische Grenze (Posen) verlief direkt an den Feldern des Gutes.
