Türkçe: Cami, Halil ür-Rahman Gölü’nün (Balıklıgöl) yanında yer almaktadır. Cami halk arasında “Döşeme Camisi” olarak da isimlendirilmektedir. 504 tarihinde Rahip Urbisyus tarafından Hz. İsa Peygamber’in annesi Hz. Meryem adına bir kilise inşa ettirilmiştir. Meryem Ana Kilisesi olarak kayıtlara geçen bu kilise, Abbasi Halifesi Me’mun döneminde (813-833), camiye dönüştürülmüştür. Minare, Selahattin Eyyubi’nin yeğeni El Melik’ül Eşref Muzafferüddin Musa tarafından 1211–1212 yıllarında onarılmıştır. Yapı, Kanuni Sultan Süleyman (1520-1566) döneminde restore edilmiştir. 1810 yılında yapı kapsamlı bir onarım görmüştür. Evliya Çelebi, Seyahatnamesi’nde bu camiden “İbrahim Halil Tekkesi” olarak bahsetmektedir.

English: The mosque is located next to Halil ür-Rahman Lake (Balıklıgöl). The mosque is also known as the "Döşeme Mosque" among the people. 504 by the Priest Urbisyus Hz. Mother of Jesus Christ A church was built in the name of Mary. This church, which was recorded as the Church of the Virgin Mary, was converted into a mosque during the reign of Abbasid Caliph Me'mun (813-833). The minaret was repaired in 1211-1212 by El Melik'ül Eşref Muzafferüddin Musa, the nephew of Saladin. The building was restored during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent (1520-1566). In 1810, the building underwent extensive repairs. Evliya Çelebi mentions this mosque as "İbrahim Halil Lodge" in his Travel Book.
