Description
English: The Royal Canadian Navy Halifax-class frigate HMCS Calgary (FFH 335) steams alongside the U.S. Navy Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) during exerecise Rim of the Pacific 2016. Twenty-six nations, more than 40 ships and submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel were participating in RIMPAC from 30 June 30 to 4 August 2016, in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. RIMPAC 2016 was the 25th exercise in the series that began in 1971.
