Description Museum Ship moored in the Pool of London. A Town Class crusier, launched in 1938 , she served in World War 2 on Russian convoys, at D-Day and in the Far East and also saw service in the Korean War. She entered the reserve in 1963 and became a museum ship in 1971, becoming part of the Imperial War Museum in 1978.
