English: IWM caption: Left to right: Chief Engine Room Artificer RH Gornall, of Ashford Middlesex, Able Seaman AJ Pearce, of Bromley, Kent, Leading Seaman ET Morse, of Ashford, Kent, and W Graham, of Glasgow, all of HMS Crane docked at Newport, Monmouthshire, after they had taken part in the successful Atlantic convoy action against U-Boats and glider bomb aircraft for four nights and three days. Two of the men are carrying out some painting work on the ship whilst the other two look on.
