English: Views of the Heilige Geesthuis (Lier): "The “Heilige Geestgebouw” (Holy Ghost Building) will be restored and given a new purpose. These works fall within the multi-year premium agreement 'Sint-Gummarussite Lier'.
In 2020, the city of Lier concluded a multi-year premium agreement with the Flemish government. Besides the Heilige Geestgebouw, the Sint-Gummaruskerk will also be thoroughly restored. The works will be carried out in four phases from 2021 to 2029. Phase 1 (2021-2022) preliminary studies St Gummarus Church and Holy Ghost Building Phase 2 (2022-2026) restoration of the east side of St Gummarus church Phase 3 (2026-2029) restoration of the west side of St Gummarus church Phase 4 (2026-2028) restoration and redevelopment of Holy Ghost Building The City of Lier is currently working on a preliminary study for the Holy Ghost Building’s new purpose, and an overall vision for the opening up of the Saint Gummarus site which consists of the Saint Gummarus Church, the Holy Ghost House and the Saint Peter's Chapel.
