七ツ森の蜂倉山山頂の薬師如来像が笹倉山山頂を向いていることを示そうとしたもの。 中央の松の幹のすぐ右に笹倉山の山頂が見えている。 笹倉山山頂には薬師堂があるが、そこには、この薬師如来も含めて七ツ森各山の薬師如来が合祀されている。
山頂のさらに右にふもとの特徴的なこぶ状の丘がひとつ見えているが、山頂とこれの幅から計算すると
- 画像の左右端間の視野角は２５度ほど。
- 中央の松の幹の幅の視野角は1～1.5度ほど。
- 石像の向きと笹倉山山頂の方角との差は数度もしくはそれ以下。
と考えられる。
なお、石像の真後ろから撮影しなかった理由は、中央の松の幹と笹倉山山頂が重なってしまうためである。
