Description

View of southern extremity of Seattle. Hall & Paulson, later Rohlfs & Schoder Furniture Factory, located at 1st Avenue and King Street. The Stetson and Post Company was located in the same area on the opposite side of the wharf. Left hand section of panorama. Beacon Hill appears in the background.

At the time of this picture, this entire area was planks over tidal mudflat.
