Description
Français : Appartenant à la série des aquarelles de guerre, cette oeuvre de Gilbert de Guingand relate son quotidien en tant que soldat durant la Première Guerre mondiale. La scène représente une halte au cours d'un déplacement. Un groupe de huit soldats est arrêté le long d'un chemin, à proximité d'une carriole attelée à des chevaux. Cette scène est un prétexte à Gilbert de Guingand pour dessiner le paysage et le ciel, comme tend à le montrer le soin plus important qu'il apporte dans la représentation de ces éléments.

Cette œuvre est conservée à La Contemporaine.
