Summary

Description

The Hastings was a British troop-carrier and freight transport which was used by the RAF from 1948 until 1977. The type was also used by the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

There are three examples left in museums: This one in England, one in Germany and one in New Zealand.

I remember seeing them, still in RAF use, when I was an Air Cadet, in the late 1960's.
