Description
English: Granary Jar. Yue Kiln, Western Jin Dynasty, 265-317 AD.

Southern Song Imperial Kiln Museum, Hangzhou

A granary jar is a type of funeral object whose top is decorated with animal and human figures and pavilions. Considering its body and glaze, it is typically classified by Chinese scholars, in spite of its early date, as celadon porcelain.
