Description Hannovers Ortsteil Groß-Buchholz wurde als Dorf weit vor den Toren der Stadt im Jahr 1907 nach Hannover eingemeindet. Im alten Dorfkern von Groß-Buchholz steht insbesondere in den Straßen Groß-Buchholzer Kirchweg, Groß-Buchholzer Straße, Pinkenburger Straße, Pinkenburger Gang, Silberstraße und Kapellenbrink noch eine Reihe von alten Häusern, insbesondere Fachwerkhäuser, die an die Vergangenheit als Bauerndorf erinnern, auch wenn sie im 21. Jahrhundert als Wohnhäuser genutzt werden und in ihren Nebengebäuden wie den früheren Ställen, Scheunen, Remisen und Schuppen weder Vieh steht noch Stroh und Heu oder Erntevorräte lagern. Hier der Groß-Buchholzer Kirchweg im Vordergrund, in den die Straße Kapellenbrink mündet.
