Dieses Ölbild "Männliche Bildnis" malte Katz um 1920 als Sympathisant und Zeuge der Revolutionskämpfe in München. Es wurde von den Nazis in der Münchner Ausstellung "Entartete Kunst" von 1937 als "Offenbarung der jüdischen Rassenseele" diffamiert. Foto: Kunsthalle Emden dpa/lni (Abdruck nur im Zusammenhang mit der Ausstellung gestattet) Der Maler Hanns Ludwig Katz malte um 1920 in München sein Bild "Männliches Bildnis". Es wurde von den Nationalsozialisten beschlagnahmt und 1937 in der Ausstellung "Entartete Kunst" in München gezeigt. Hier wird es in der Ausstellung "Entartetes" und "Anonymes" ausgestellt. Sie war vom 26. Juli bis 9. November 2003 in der Emder Kunsthalle zu sehen. |
