Français : Lettre en franchise militaire avec correspondance relatant les conditions de vie à Hà-Nôi et confectionnée à partir d'une ancienne enveloppe, d'un sergent de la citadelle de Hà-Nôi pour Hué, oblitérée « POSTE AUX ARMEES ★ » 18/1/46 en bleu, transit "État-major de Place à Saigon" (écriture manuscrite différente de celle du destinataire) et censure militaire.

OUVERTURE DU B.P.M. 411 À HÀ-NÔI 1ER NOVEMBRE 1945 : Le B.P.M.411 est ouvert à Hà-Nôi, il est relié à Sài-Gòn par avion militaire. Il dessert, au début surtout, la population civile de Hà-Nôi et de Nam Dinh. Il utilise uniquement des timbres français et un cachet muet «POSTE AUX ARMEES / ★ » apposé généralement en bleu, puis, à partir de début 1946, de plus en plus en noir.

Le tarif par la poste aux armées au départ de l'Indochine est de 1F50 pour l'Indochine (courrier intérieur), 2F pour les lettres pour la métropole. La taxe de recommandation est de 4F. A partir du 1er janvier 1946, le tarif de la lettre pour la métropole est de 3 francs, la taxe de recommandation passe à 6 francs.

Il a été vu un cachet «POSTE AUX ARMEES / ★ » avec le chiffre 4 de 46 de au type américain (4 fermé). La marque de recommandation est un cachet rectangulaire encadré «R // B.P.M. 411 / N°--», vu en noir et en rouge. Les plis militaires aériens pour la France voyagent sans surtaxe.

Le courrier militaire est parfois censuré et porte alors des anciens cachets et bandes.
