A simulation of Hanover Bars type distortion, made in graphics software using a self-made script. Hanover Bars may occur in the PAL color broadcast system if the color decoder's phase is not locked correctly relative the the color burst, and are normally concealed using a delay line; in this example a phase error has been added and the delay line has been disabled.
