Hanwell School Board was formed in 1899; St Ann’s was designed by Mr Pywell (local Hanwell architect who designed Hanwell schools Oaklands and Hobbayne); built during 1901; opened doors in September 1902; mixed; served northern part of parish. Now a special secondary day school for pupils with severe learning difficulties. |
