| Description |
English: Tetsuo Harada sculptor. Public commission, realization of “Fountain”, H 300, basins 800 x 600, made of grey granite encrusted with pink granite, pebbles. Totems H 300, placed in the City neighborhood des Vertes Voyes in Sainte Menehould, Champagne region. Organized by the Ministry of Education and the City of Sainte Menehould. The fountain will create the link between the old and new city neighborhood. The city of St. Ménéhould has a remarkable architectural know mixing brick with clear limestone. Located near the vocational school, the fountain is encrusted pink granite recalling the local style. Water flows from the top of granite columns and slid into the basin. Very shallow, it serves mainly to give more transparency to the work and to reflect the sky, clouds or the stars. The arrival of this sculpture has completely changed the use of this place that is now commemorative and well equipped. Competition "1%" of the Ministry of National Education and the municipality of Saint Ménéhould.

La fontaine crée le lien entre la vieille ville et le nouveau quartier. La ville de Sainte Ménéhould possède un savoir architectural remarquable mélangeant la brique au calcaire clair. Située à proximité du Lycée professionnel, la fontaine est incrustée de granit rose rappelant le style local. L’eau s’écoule du haut des colonnes de granit et glisse jusque dans le bassin. Très peu profond, il sert surtout à donner plus de transparence à l’œuvre et à refléter le ciel, les nuages ou les étoiles. L’arrivée de cette sculpture a complètement changé l’utilisation de cette place qui est maintenant commémorative et très bien aménagée. Concours 1% du ministère de l’Éducation nationale et la municipalité de Sainte Ménéhould. |
