English: Arms of Elizabeth Hardwick (Elizabeth Talbot, Countess of Shrewsbury, known as "Bess of Hardwick", née Elizabeth Hardwick) (c. 1527–1608), of Hardwick Hall, Derbyshire, as displayed on plaster overmantle in great hall of Hardwick Hall.[1] Lozenge-shaped shied as appropriate for a female armiger. Blazon: Argent, a saltire engrailed azure on a chief of the second three cinquefoils of the first
