Description
English: First 4 harmonics at the surface of a wedge-shaped water body. The node at the left end is due to the existence of a phase jump at the sloping end, whereas there is an antinode (loop) at the vertical wall.
Deutsch: Die ersten 4 Eigenformen an der Oberfläche eines keilförmigen Flüssigkeitskörpers mit einer vertikalen Wand an der einen und einer geneigten Wand an der anderen Seite. Infolge eines Phasensprunges tritt am geneigten Ende ein Schwingungsknoten auf, während an der vertikalen Wand ein Schwingungsbauch vorliegt.
