Description
English: Harrogate Perriots, led by Thomas Henry Coleman (born London, 1867), of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. Coleman's Perriots entertained in parks and gardens, including the Stray, and the streets of Harrogate, where they were accompanied by a portable piano in a converted pram, and performed to wounded soldiers in military hospitals during the First World War. Coleman was a friend friend of the Tsar of Russia, for whom his troupe performed in Moscow. Following his time with the Harrogate Peirrots, Coleman ran a music dealership in Lowther Arcade.
