Description
Deutsch: Zwei Eisenbahnüberführungen über den Rheingauwall; Stahltrogbrücke mit schmiedeeisernem Geländer, klinkerverkleidete Stützmauer, 1904, Architekten Merkel und Konsorten. Die vermeintliche Lücke entstand durch Errichtung des Überwerfungsbauwerks (2010-2014) am Nordkopf des Hauptbahnhofgeländes, der den südlichen Teil des Gleisdreiecks Mainz bildet. Dort laufen die Strecken aus Wiesbaden, Bingen/Bad Kreuznach und Alzey zum Hauptbahnhof zusammen.
