Summary
editDescriptionHaunted Fort Mifflin.jpg |
English: Fort Mifflin in Philadelphia, PA was subject to a major British bombardment and the rebels initially repelled the attack before being forced to abandon their position. During the civil war Confederate POWs were housed at the fort. There are many ghost stories about the Fort and it was featured on SyFy channels "Ghost Hunters."
This image is a long exposure taken during an overnight visit to Fort Mifflin. The duration of the exposure was 30 seconds. The "ghost" in the doorway was most likely the woman sitting on the bench standing in front of the well lit door long enough during the 30 second exposure to create a dark spot, but who knows for sure... |
