Description
Deutsch: Das 1913 bis 1914 von dem Architekten Georg Stern erbaute Haus Zieseniss unter der (heutigen) Adresse Steintorstraße 9 am Rande der Altstadt von Hannover gilt als das zweitälteste erhaltene Gebäude vom Typ "Geschäftshaus" in Hannover. Der für den Bauherrn und Fischhändler Zieseniss errichtete Gebäudekomplex, der sich rückwärtig bis zur Reitwallstraße 5 fortsetzt, steht in der Nachfolge frühneuzeitlicher Kaufmannshäuser. Das Geschäftshaus wurde Heimatstil erbaut und zeigt insbesondere an seiner Hauptfassade vielfältige teils bunt lasierte Terrakotten mit Darstellungen insbesondere essbarer Meerestiere ...
