Description

Hanusovský dům. Havlíčkovo náměstí čp. 56, Havlíčkův Brod. Nejstarší písemná zpráva o Hanusovském domě pochází z roku 1565. Pamatuje dobu renesanční přestavby města koncem 16. stol., kterou připomínají také klenby v přízemí. Z této doby se dochovaly v mázhauzu dva renesanční náhrobní kameny, vztahující se k manželkám utrakvistického děkana Matěje Romence, které se původně nacházely u děkanského kostela. Podle majitele z 18. stol. V. V. Jenče se domu čp. 56 říkalo Jenčovský. Průčelí objektu je výsledkem stavebních úprav v 18. a 19. stol. Majetkem města se dům stal roku 1862. Tehdy byla v zadním traktu upravena kovárna a později truhlárna. Začátkem 20. stol. v Hanusovském domě sídlilo městské muzeum (v letech 1910–1921) do doby, než brodská radnice tento dům vyměnila s Městskou spořitelnou za dům Havlíčkův, do kterého bylo muzeum přestěhováno.
